Qr Codes can be used to link almost anything you can think of on the net, digital content that is on the internet, just remember that the item linked will be read with a scan ap...it should be mobile freindly. The scanned code will autotomatically link to the info you are directing them to.
Virtual tours are why I use the QR Code, but there are many other uses for QR linking... a list below are common types of linking that is used today a QR Code (it stands for "Quick Response") is a mobile phone readable 2 dimenional barcode that's been big in Japan for a long time, broke into Europe a while back, and is now getting huge attention in the US. Wiyh the growth of smart phone use, especially replacment phones on new contracts the growth is skyrocketing.

In it's simplest sense think "print based hypertext link" also a "Ink Link" - simply encode a URL into the QR Code and then point a mobile smartphone (or other camera-enabled mobile) at it. If the device has had QR Code decoding software ( also called an ap) installed on it, it will fire up its browser and go straight to that URL. But it doesn't stop there - a QR Code can also contain a phone number, an SMS message, V-Card data or just plain alphanumeric text, and the scanning device will respond by opening up the correct application. try a couple scans below
